Flick for Plex

Common problems
- I can't sign in
- Flick signs you in through Plex's own page, so your password is never typed into the app. If the page doesn't appear, check that your device has a working connection and try the plex.tv/link code flow instead. If sign-in succeeds but no servers appear, the account you used probably doesn't own or have access to a server yet.
- My server doesn't show up
- Flick lists whatever plex.tv says your account can reach. If a server is missing, open Plex on the web and confirm it appears there first — if it doesn't, it's offline or the share hasn't been accepted. Servers that are online but unreachable are usually a remote-access problem on the server itself.
- Something I swiped didn't change in Plex
- Every decision writes straight to your server, so a change that didn't stick almost always means the write was rejected. The usual cause is that you have read-only access to a shared server. Ratings, watched state, and playlists all require write permission from the server's owner.
- I deleted something by accident
- No swipe can delete media — binned titles go to a review playlist you can undo from. Permanent deletion is off by default and has to be enabled deliberately in Settings, and it confirms before each file. If you did confirm a permanent deletion, it is gone: Flick, Plex, and we cannot recover it. Restore from your own backup.
- I paid to remove ads and they came back
- Open Settings and use Restore Purchases. The purchase is tied to your Apple ID or Google account, so it restores on any device signed in to the same account. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us — we have no way to issue one.
- How do I delete my data?
- Sign out in the app, or delete the app. Everything Flick stores is on your device and goes with it. There is no account to close and no copy of anything on our side — see the privacy policy.
