Flick Privacy Policy

Flick is built by Utileau. This policy explains what the app does with your information. It is short because the app does very little with it.
The summary
Flick has no backend, no database, and no account of its own. It talks directly to plex.tv and to your own Plex Media Server. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us, because there is nowhere for it to be sent.
We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.
What stays on your device

All of it is removed when you sign out or delete the app.
We never see any of it. It does not leave your device except as requests to Plex, described below.
Who your device talks to
plex.tv — to sign you in and to look up which servers your account can reach. Sign-in uses Plex's own hosted page or the plex.tv/link code flow. Flick never sees, receives, or stores your Plex password. If you add something to your Plex Watchlist, that request also goes to Plex. Plex's handling of your data is governed by Plex's own privacy policy at plex.tv/about/privacy-legal
Your Plex Media Server — directly, to read your libraries and to apply what you do in the app (ratings, watched state, playlists). This is your own server, or one someone has shared with you.
There is no third party in between.
Media content
Flick displays artwork, titles, and descriptions from your own Plex library. That content is yours and stays on your server. We do not host, copy, upload, index, or analyse it.
Advertising
This version of Flick contains no advertising and no analytics. No advertising SDK is initialised and no advertising identifier is read.
A future version may include banner or interstitial advertising provided by Google AdMob. If and when it does:
- Ads will be requested as non-personalised, meaning your advertising identifier is not used to build a profile of you
- Users in the EEA and UK will be shown Google's consent form before any ad is requested
- A one-time in-app purchase will remove advertising permanently
- This policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated in the same release, before any such version ships
Children
Flick is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete on request. To remove everything Flick has stored, sign out in the app or delete the app from your device.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
